Do you need remote tech support for home computer issues?  There’s no need to worry about local or remote tech support any longer!  While this kind of tech support can be quite costly, I don’t require payment for my services.

There’s a free tool that will allow me to assist you in fixing any non-catastrophic issues or give a short training session as long as you have a decent internet connection.  Here’s a list of just some of the issues with which I can remotely assist:

  • Broadband router configuration to secure your home network.
  • Configuration of software or assisting with configuration items.
  • Training on tasks such as maintenance & simple troubleshooting.
  • Installation, removal or diagnosis of software.

Why should you allow me to assist you remotely?

Security & Confidence:

  • YOU initiate the connection to allow me to assist you.
  • No passwords are passed between our computers.  In fact, I refuse to assist with online banking or other account problems requiring a password or other personal information.  For those issues you must contact your bank or agency holding the account for technical assistance.
  • The entire session is completely encrypted and secure.
  • You can see everything I’m doing – as I move the mouse and open windows – you see it all.

Ease of Use:

  • You don’t have to install anything.
  • There’s no need to configure your broadband router, and no need to punch holes in your personal firewall.

  • Download the Remote Assistance tool by clicking the above link, and save the tool to your desktop.
  • Call me at 817-507-6589 to explain your issue and initiate the session.
  • Double-click the tool you downloaded to run it.  You will need to give me the temporary session ID & Password the free tool will give you.
  • When the connection completes, if you have any wallpaper selected as your desktop background, it will temporarily disappear.  This is to streamline and speed up the connection between our computers.  When the session is complete, and one of us disconnects, your wallpaper will return.  If it doesn’t, then it will return the next time you restart your computer.
  • Now, just sit back and let me do the rest.  As I navigate through your computer, you’ll be able to see all mouse movements, keystrokes and windows opening up.  We can even have a simultaneous phone session so that you can ask questions, etc.  Once we’re done, I’ll disconnect the session and this tool will completely uninstall itself from your computer.
